Back on Track

Everyone derails once in a while. It happens. The difference is if you keep cruising down the easy track or switch back to the one that goes where you want it to go.

I was hit in the head last spring. It changed everything for an entire season. I didn't like the path that injury put me on. Brain recovery is a frustrating thing. Bless Supportive Husband Guy for loving me through that. He should get a gold star and a cookie. What in the past would have been an easy switch back to healthy habits has been difficult this time. Start. Stop. Start again.

I thought setting a big goal and announcing it publicly would give me the push to establish healthy habits again. I'm disappointed to say it hasn't. Turns out there are a million other things that I can use as an excuse to not work out and to stop by Little Caesar's and buy pizza. It's has got to stop. I've had it. Change is coming.
